Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud Grand Opening

Swiss-Belhotel Expands in Bali with New Ubud Resort

Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud becomes the group’s 10th property in Bali, adding a new family, wellness and events destination in Tegallalang.

Swiss-Belhotel International has officially opened Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud, strengthening the group’s presence in one of Bali’s most established hospitality markets.

The resort celebrated its grand opening on 5 September 2026 following a soft-opening period in July and August. Located on Jalan Raya Gentong in Tegallalang, the property becomes Swiss-Belhotel International’s 10th hotel in Bali.

Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud offers 90 rooms and suites alongside four wooden pavilions. Accommodation options range from 40-square-metre rooms to 102-square-metre suites, with selected categories featuring private heated plunge pools and smart-home technology.

The resort has been designed for multigenerational families, wellness travellers and guests seeking a quieter stay close to Ubud’s natural landscape.

A Resort Designed Around Nature and Family Travel

One of the resort’s distinctive features is a private bridge connecting the property to the surrounding rice fields. The experience places Ubud’s landscape at the centre of the stay while giving guests direct access to the area beyond the resort.

Its leisure facilities include cascading infinity pools, a heated jacuzzi, a traditional Balinese spa, a fitness centre and a kids’ club.

The food and beverage offering includes Giwangkara Restaurant for Indonesian and international cuisine, Petanu Pool Bar and Udupi Restaurant, which specialises in Indian cuisine and has a separate vegetarian kitchen.

Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud also enters Ubud’s growing events market. D’vimala Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for formal banquets or 500 guests for standing receptions. Outdoor areas are available for weddings and other social events.

Why It Matters

Ubud continues to attract hotel development beyond traditional wellness retreats and boutique properties. New resorts are increasingly designed to serve several demand segments at once, including families, weddings, corporate groups and wellness travellers. For Swiss-Belhotel International, Ashva Swiss-Belresort Ubud also expands its geographic reach in Bali while adding an upper-upscale resort product to its Indonesian portfolio.
